3.08.17, Sighisoara – Yesterday’s workshop organized by Kinderland showed how simple things can become beautiful and bring incredible joy to kids. Creating something by yourself can be very empowering and it’s important for kids to show off their skills and artistic side. Some t-shirt designs from their creating point till the end product were really different, but no one gets it right the first time; this gives us the chance to improve and try again. Kids don’t get discouraged by the little mistakes, they just have a laugh and move on. I think grown-ups can learn a lot from them.
It was also really interesting how different their design ideas were, some of them wanted to show their name, some of them wanted everyone to know their favorite things but some of them made sure they have every possible color on their shirt. It just shows how very different we are and how differently we see the world. And isn’t it beautiful? Kinderland team with their amazing leader Florentina made an afternoon filled with music, laughter and kids cheering. Once again we were proved that kids and creativity are inseparable.
This is just the first workshop, next week we will see how simple things can become a musical instrument, come and join us!
